Designed as a family's London pied-à-terre, this London home was designed to feel like a true home away from home from their primary Dubai residence.

This home was built in 1875 by the prolific architect Samuel Juler Wyland. We sought to preserve as many of the existing features as we could. In the living room, there is stunning original crown molding throughout that we wanted to honor and highlight with a fresh coat of paint to highlight the color scheme in the fabric scheme.

The family was looking for a dynamic, functional home. One that serves many purposes – of being a place for them to relax but also to host. The homeowner’s daughters are still young and we wanted the home to feel considered and layered but also a place that feels approachable and comfortable for their family and friends to gather.

We drew deeply from the charm of classic British interiors—there’s something so inherently cosy about the layered textures, prints, and quiet elegance of an English home. Because the property is in South Kensington, it felt important that the design felt rooted in its setting.
