A restaurant by James Beard award winning chef, Nancy Silverton. For the interiors, we wanted to pay homage to Nancy’s time in Italy and were inspired by the Amalfi Coast and La Dolce Vita.
The wood paneling on the walls is dressed in a high sheen varnish referential to the yachting wood used on boats that idle off the shore; reclaimed terracotta tiles weave their way through the restaurant across plastered hand carved columns. Trailing vines and large indoor trees feel wild. The handblown glass lighting was made by our friend in Murano.
We collaborated with a Milanese furniture maker to create bold colored bistro chairs seated across from the custom striped fabric on the banquettes.
